Discovery Experience - Practical Details
What is included in the package price?
All packages include: - Personal consultation with Christoph Albeck - Property viewings - Airport transfer - Hotel accommodations (1-4 nights depending on package)
Higher packages additionally offer: - Private drivers - Boat excursions/yacht charters - Extended banking appointments
Not included: - International flights - Meals (except breakfast at hotel) - Personal expenses
How does booking and payment work?
Booking Process: 1. Fill out contact form or book meeting 2. Personal preliminary conversation (Zoom/phone) 3. Down payment: 50% upon booking confirmation 4. Final payment: 14 days before departure
Payment Methods: - Bank transfer (SEPA/SWIFT) - Credit card (Visa/Mastercard) - Cryptocurrencies (BTC/ETH/USDT)
What are the cancellation terms?
- Up to 60 days before departure: Free cancellation, full refund
- 30-59 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 30 days: 100% cancellation fee
- Rebooking: Free up to 30 days in advance (one time)
We recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance.
Do I need a visa for the Bahamas?
For German citizens: No visa required for stays up to 90 days.
You need: - Passport (valid for at least 6 months) - Return flight ticket - Proof of accommodation - Sufficient financial means
Other nationalities: Please check visa requirements for your country. We’re happy to assist with clarification.
Can I bring my family/partner?
Yes, absolutely! Companions are welcome.
Additional cost per person: - Explorer: +$800 (hotel + transfer) - Immersion: +$1,200 (hotel + all activities) - VIP Intensive: +$2,000 (luxury hotel + all activities)
Children under 12: 50% discount on companion price
When is the best time to travel to Grand Bahama?
Best season: November to April - Dry, 72-82°F - Optimal weather for viewings
Off-season: May to October - Warmer, occasional rain showers - Cheaper flights
Hurricane season: June to November - We monitor weather conditions - Flexible rebooking available

How does the 50% Setup Discount work?
When you book a Bahamas Discovery Experience and subsequently commission a Corporate & Banking Setup, you receive 50% discount on the setup package.
Example (Silver Package): - Regular: $8,800 ($5,500 corporate + $3,300 banking) - With Discovery: $4,400 (50% discount) - Your savings: $4,400
The discount is granted when commissioning the setup within 6 months after the Discovery Trip.
Corporate & Banking Setup Packages
When does a setup package make sense?
A setup package makes sense when you: - Want a functioning corporate and banking structure independent of a trip - Don’t have time for a trip - Are planning a start-up and need an international structure immediately
Important: We recommend booking the Discovery Experience and benefiting from the 50% setup discount. Most clients purchase through a corporate setup to get maximum tax advantage.

One-time: - Corporate setup: $5,500 - Banking setup: $3,300 (regular $5,000, discount $1,700) - Government fees: approx. $1,320 - Total: approx. $10,120
Annual: $1,980 – $3,080 (maintenance & compliance)
Gold Package: Premium - Ideal for: Complex portfolios, international business, wealth under $5M - 3 Jurisdictions: Bahamas IBC + US LLC + Liechtenstein Foundation (FL) - Customized foundation charter - Comprehensive bank setup (USA, Bahamas, Liechtenstein) - Personal advisor (phone/Zoom, monthly reviews)
One-time: - Setup: $19,800 – $30,800 - External trustees (Liechtenstein): $5,500 – $11,000 - Government fees: approx. $2,200 - Total: approx. $27,500 – $44,000

All prices plus VAT – 10% discount with annual contract.
How long does the setup take?
- Silver Package: approx. 4 weeks
- Gold Package: approx. 8 weeks
- Platinum Package: approx. 8 weeks
Duration may vary depending on complexity and government processing.
Timeline & Process
How quickly do clients book the Discovery Experience?
Typically, clients book very quickly – within 1-2 weeks after the Strategy Session. Most clients book a consultation when they already know they will travel.
Process: 1. Client books their own flight 2. Provides us with arrival time and departure date 3. We send the invoice for the trip
How long does it take from Discovery Trip to property purchase?
Very fast. Clients come to buy real estate. When they find the right property, they close very quickly:
- Until closing: typically within 7 days
- Until notarization and payment: approx. 3-6 months
Fastest case: 1 month
Typical case: 3 months
Are there restrictions for certain nationalities?
Officially not. There are actually all nationalities in the Bahamas. In fact, there are no Muslim investors – whether this is intended by the government or coincidence is unclear.
How do I transfer the money safely?
The purchase price is transferred via wire transfer to the notary’s escrow account. This ensures maximum security for both parties.
Do I have to be there in person?
You don’t have to be there in person – the purchase can also be done remotely. However, we strongly recommend the Bahamas Discovery Experience to: - View properties in person - Get to know the country and culture - Build trust - Make the right purchase decision
