Investment Opportunities

What investment options does CPH Investment Group offer?

We offer two main models:

  1. Land Banking (from $250,000) - Strategic land in high-growth locations - No building obligation - Appreciation over 10% p.a., often significantly more (depending on location) - Recommended top locations in Lucaya (Freeport, Grand Bahama): - Fortune Bay Area - Bahama Reef (Dolphin Cove Hotel) - Bell Channel (south-facing lots only, not peninsula)
  2. Build-to-Rent (from $1,000,000) - Turnkey houses in approved projects - Immediate rental income from day 1 - Rental yield: 8-10%+ with vacation rentals - Qualification for Permanent Residency - Completely tax-free environment

Why should I invest directly on the waterfront?

Waterfront properties offer the highest appreciation and are most sought-after. Location is the decisive factor for long-term wealth building. Water frontage is limited and cannot be reproduced – making these properties the most valuable assets.

What returns can I expect?

  • Land Banking: Over 10% p.a. appreciation, often substantially more for premium waterfront locations
  • Build-to-Rent: 8-10%+ rental yield with vacation rentals
  • All returns are tax-free (0% income tax, 0% capital gains tax)

Do I have to pay cash for the property?

Yes. The purchase price must always be paid in full cash. There is no possibility in the Bahamas to finance part of the purchase price through a bank.

Permanent Residency

What is Permanent Residency and how do I qualify?

Permanent Residency is a lifetime residence permit for the Bahamas. To qualify for Economic Permanent Residency, you must: - Invest at least $1,000,000 (mandated by the Bahamas government) - Invest either in real estate OR Zero Coupon Bonds from the Central Bank - Hold the asset for a minimum of 10 years

How long does the Residency application process take?

The application process can be initiated during your Bahamas Discovery Experience. We have experienced multiple times that clients stayed in the Bahamas directly after the trip. The final approval takes longer, but the process can be started immediately.

What documents do I need for Residency?

Basically, you need: - Valid passport - Proof of Funds - KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation - Additional documents will be requested as needed, especially for the Residency application

Security & Legal

Is my investment safe in the Bahamas?

Absolutely. The Bahamas offer the highest legal security: - Common Law System: English Common Law applies - Higher legal security than many EU nations - Supreme Court sits in London - USD as currency: The most stable currency worldwide - Strictest property rights worldwide - State-sworn notaries: All certifications are performed by state-sworn notaries

What are the biggest risks?

The biggest risks are natural hazards – especially hurricanes (wind and water). That’s why location is crucial. We work with historical data and flood maps, which we gladly explain in a free Discovery Call. The right property selection significantly minimizes these risks.

How is my property legally protected?

Your property is fully protected. The Bahamas have the strictest property rights worldwide. All certifications are performed by state-sworn notaries. “Free Hold” applies – you can freely sell, inherit, or transfer your property at any time.
